Raceport
Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of the Raceport app and related services (“Raceport”) that Albert Medya Yazılım ve Dijital Yayıncılık Hizmetleri A.Ş. provides. By using Raceport you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use Raceport.
The service
Raceport is an app that brings together race calendars and results in sports such as road running, trail, triathlon, HYROX, cycling and open water, lets you follow your race career, and connects you with other athletes and communities.
Raceport is not a race organiser or a timing company. Plans in Raceport only show that you intend to take part in a race; they are not an official race registration.
We may change Raceport's features over time, add new ones or remove some.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to become a Raceport member. By becoming a member you confirm that you are 18 or older.
Some features require membership; without signing in you can use only the features offered to guests.
Your account
Membership is created through Sign in with Apple or sign-in with Google. You are responsible for the security of your account and your device.
Each person may have only one account. You may not create an account for someone else or by impersonating another person or organisation.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile.
You can delete your account at any time. See the Account Deletion page for details.
Community rules
To keep Raceport safe and respectful for everyone, you must follow these rules. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
- Do not post content that harasses, threatens or bullies others, or that contains hate speech or discrimination.
- Do not post obscene, violent or illegal content.
- Do not impersonate another person or organisation; do not claim a race result that is not yours.
- Do not post spam, advertising or misleading content.
- Do not share other people's personal information without their permission.
- Do not try to disrupt Raceport, get around its security measures or collect its data by automated means without permission.
As a club admin, you are responsible for the announcements you write on behalf of the community.
Reporting, blocking and moderation
You can report a profile or an announcement that you find breaks the rules from within the app. Reports are reviewed by our editors.
When you block a user, you no longer see each other's profiles, plans or presence in lists, and any follows between you are removed.
We may remove content that breaks the rules without prior notice, delete profile information, and close the accounts of users who break the rules.
Race data
Race calendars and results are imported from third-party sources such as the public pages of organisers and timing companies. This data may contain errors, gaps or delays; we do not guarantee that it is accurate or up to date. The official result is the one published by the organiser.
You can claim that a result is yours. A similar name alone is not proof; claims are reviewed by our editors, who may ask for more information. False claims are rejected and may lead to the account being closed.
If you see an error in a result, you can tell us at support@albertsoftware.com.
Third-party links
Raceport may contain links to organisers' pages and to communities' outside channels (for example WhatsApp, Instagram, Strava or websites). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these sites; their use is subject to their own terms.
Intellectual property
Albert Medya Yazılım ve Dijital Yayıncılık Hizmetleri A.Ş. owns the rights in the Raceport app, its design, name, logo and software, or holds a licence to them.
The rights in race results and event information belong to their respective sources.
City names and locations come from GeoNames (geonames.org), used under the CC BY 4.0 licence.
Content you share on Raceport (for example your profile information and announcements) remains yours. You allow us to store, use and display it to the extent needed to provide Raceport.
You may not copy or reverse engineer Raceport, or use it for commercial purposes without permission.
Termination
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting your account.
If you break these terms, we may suspend or close your account.
We reserve the right to discontinue Raceport in whole or in part; if we do, we will try to give reasonable notice in advance.
Limitation of liability
Raceport is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from errors in third-party data, content shared by users, or Raceport being unavailable.
Decisions about taking part in races, your training and your health are yours.
Our liability for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and your rights under consumer law, are not affected.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of İstanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
Your right as a consumer to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is not affected.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is published in the app and on this page, and we will announce significant changes in the app.
If you keep using Raceport after a change, you accept the updated terms.
